Maja graduated from Comparative literature at the University of Ljubljana. She works more than 10 years as an editor at the publishing house in Slovenia. As an editor she published more than 200 books.

She started writing children stories in 2008. The first book(The Shoemakers Apprentice) was widely accepted in her home comuntry and after it was published as an app it recieved more than 120.000 downloads and is read in schools in USA. <
